Suggested Mentions (also known as Suggested) is the suggested number of times a topic should be mentioned. This is based on our analysis of hundreds and sometimes thousands of documents MarketMuse examines when creating a topic model. Think of this as a proxy for topic depth — frequent mentions of a topic indicate that it was discussed in depth.
Mentioning a topic increases your content score, up to a maximum of two point per topic. But it is not a ranking factor.
You can display Suggested Mentions as either exact numbers or ranges. Click on the gear in the left navigation rail and select Settings to change the way it’s displayed.
