Go to MarketMuse home to create a free account.
Signing up for a free account requires that you have a valid email address. You’ll also need to create a password.
Click the gear icon, select “Settings” and then click the “Subscription tab.” See Managing Your Membership and Payment Methods for step-by-step instructions.
Setting up your account requires MarketMuse to read analyze the content on your website. This takes between 10 and 30 minutes for a website with less than 16k topics.
Yes, you can manually add both topics and URLs to MarketMuse. The associated data, including personalized metrics, should appear in about 5 minutes.
Login and Password Issues
Click “Forgot password?” when entering your password. You’ll be given the option to reset your password. Follow the instructions in the reset password email that’s sent to you. See How to reset your password for details.

For new users, the account administrator must be delete and recreate the user. For existing users, reach out to us at support@marketmuse.com. Refer to MarketMuse Team Management for details.
Account Verification and Activation
Follow the instructions in the email verification sent to the email address provided when creating the account. Check your spam folder if you can’t find the email.
During peak times it can take a few minutes for an account to be activated. Otherwise, it’s possible that your email address was entered wrong. If you’ve been invited by the administrator of a content team, refer them to MarketMuse Team Management. Otherwise, reach out to us at support@marketmuse.com.

Account Security
Create a complex password. MarketMuse forces you to create one with at least 10 characters long, containing a special character, a number, and an uppercase letter. Don’t share your login credentials (it’s against our Terms of Service, too). Use Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). See How to Add Two-Step Verification.
MarketMuse implements various security measures to protect your data and account. But it’s important to remember that no system is completely foolproof. It’s essential to follow best practices for account security, such as using strong passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, and being cautious of phishing attempts.
